Federal Engineering Presents PSAP Consolidation Report
In accordance with Arkansas Act 660, the Public Safety Act of 2019, the duties of the Arkansas 911 Board include developing a plan no later than January 1, 2022, to provide funding for no more than seventy-seven (77) public safety answering points to operate in the state.
To assess the current 911 environment and assist in developing this plan, the Arkansas 911 Board selected Federal Engineering through the Request for Proposal (RFP) process. The Arkansas 911 Board has received Federal Engineering’s statewide PSAP Consolidation Report.
Following review of this report, the Arkansas 911 Board will determine next steps in presenting a plan.
